My co-worker had her baby yesterday. They announced it in front of the entire school and there are pictures everywhere. She had the same due date as I did, just one year later. She went into labor two weeks early and got to take her baby home. I am happy for her. I am. I'm just still so heartbroken that I didn't get to have my take home baby.
It's coming up on my due date again. My little girl would be one soon. Although I am so grateful that I am pregnant and things are going well (fingers crossed, knock on wood), it still hurts when I see a little girl running around or hear a pregnancy announcement. It's been over a year and a half since my first loss, and it feels like yesterday.
